Co-founder of Atala Chapter of NABA (1995)

Her love of butterflies and social justice carries on with all who knew her!  She is greatly missed!

The Atala Chapter of the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) was founded in the summer of 1995. Since that time, we have held  NABA 4th of July Butterfly Counts every year, countless field trips throughout Florida and quarterly meetings featuring various nature-related topics. 

 

Check calendar for upcoming meetings and butterfly walks.

 

Meetings are 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the Mounts Building Auditorium at  Mounts Botanical Garden, 531 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Fl 33415, unless otherwise noted. The Mounts Auditorium is at the  front of the Garden at the Military Trail entrance. Directions to Mounts Botanical Garden

Free and open to the public but registration required.

This butterfly walk is a partnership with Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management (ERM)-Adopt A Natural Area program.
